Nancy Fontaine, Ph.D
Nancy Fontaine, served as CCAI-FL's first director until June 2006. Since that time, she has continued working part time with CCAI as a social worker, conducting home studies for FL families in the northern area of the state; and as a communications consultant, hosting information meetings and writing the bi-monthly newsletter. Dr. Fontaine also is a faculty member at Florida A&M University, where she teaches courses including family and community partnerships, behavior management, and foundations of early childhood education. She comes to CCAI with her husband, Thomas Cavano; three adopted children from China; and two grown children.
